Rumor: 5-inch Moto G2 to launch September 10th, starts at €250
Motorola’s continuing their line of affordable smartphones this September if rumors are to believed. It’s said that the Chicago company will look to launch the Moto G2 on September 10th. It’s not often we get such a pointed release date in a rumor like this so we’ll have to see if that holds up.
The Moto G2 is expected to come with a 5-inch 720p display and Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 400 chipset, a 1.2GHz SoC that features an Adreno 305 GPU. Other rumored specs include 1GB of RAM, an 8 megapixel camera and Android 4.4.4 KitKat. The device could come in at a price point of about €250. That’s certainly far more than the original Moto G launched for, but perhaps this one will launch with 4G LTE radios by default instead of us having to wait for a follow-up device. Guess we’ll be finding out soon enough.
