Google Play gift cards hit Canada
Some good news has hit the wire for our friends in Canada — Google Play gift cards are now available for your consumption! You can get them in denominations of $15, $25 and $50 if you so choose, which can be used to purchase all sorts of digital content from the Google Play Store. The cards don’t work for devices, though, so you’ll want to keep that in mind before gifting these to other people.
Google has gone as far as creating a location finder so you can easily find stores which sell Google Play gift cards in your area. Just punch in your town or postal code at this link, and you’ll be well on your way to being able to buy all the apps and games you want. Now if only Google could show that same type of haste in the music department…
