Not many software designers are as well-known as Matias Duarte. In 2010 he was hired by Google after three years of designing the user experience of Palm OS. At this time Android was considered clunky and ugly. Fast forward four years and Matias has helped completely revamp the look and feel of all Google services and products. Android fans love Matias for his great design sense, but he is also known for something else: his shirts.
Whenever Matias takes the stage at a keynote or does an interview he likes to wear flamboyant shirts. This has become Matias’ signature look, and people have come to expect it with each event.
