Chromebook users can now watch Google Play Movies offline
One of the downsides of using a Chromebook to watch movies is that you had to be online to view them. Thankfully Google has changed all that with the latest upgrade as they have enabled offline viewing for those who can’t seem to get set up on a WiFi connection whenever they feel like watching their favorite film. All you need to do to get the new functionality is update the appropriate Chrome extension right here.
Google also detailed a couple of other neat changes, including offline Info Cards and better Chromecast and local playback experience for anyone watching content through the browser. Be sure to check all of that out if you’ve been yearning for these changes.
