It was back in January that Verizon Wireless agreed to sell some of its precious spectrum to AT&T in deal reaching $1.9 billion. Today, the deal has finally been completed and according to AT&T in a press release, the second biggest carrier in the US plans to use the 700MHz spectrum from the lower band B block to help improve its LTE service for 42 million customers, spanning across 18 different states in the US. Which states made the cut? You can check out the full list below.

  • California

  • Colorado

  • Florida

  • Idaho

  • Illinois

  • Louisiana

  • Montana

  • New Mexico

  • New York

  • Ohio

  • Oklahoma

  • South Dakota

  • Tennessee

  • Texas

  • Utah

  • Virginia

  • Washington

  • Wyoming

The deal wasn’t completely one sided, mind you. Verizon will get a little added AWS boost as part of the deal, hitting markets like Los Angeles, Fresno, Phoenix, Albuquerque, and Portland.
